Wehome presents “K-POPSTAY for Army 2026,” a special program where global ARMYs can stay at the homes of ARMYs in Seoul, Goyang, and Busan. It is a new form of travel accommodation connecting fans with fans.

Who can join?
- We are looking for 200 Hosts (100 ARMY Hosts + 100 General Shared Lodging Hosts).
- Residents in Seoul, Goyang and Busan
Host Types:
- Type A (Free/Volunteer): Provide free accommodation (Guest pays daily actual expenses). No business registration required.
- Type B (Paid Hosting): Legally verified hosts and homes through the Regulatory Sandbox
Why Host?
- Exchange culture with global fans.
- Start legal home-sharing without legal issues.
- Get the Fast-track certification of the certified home sharing through the Regulatory Sandbox if needed.
- Pricing Rule: For paid hosting, rates must be set within 2 times of the average rate for similar accommodations in the same area during 2025.
Schedule in Seoul
Phase 1: Host Recruitment
- Dates: February 13 – February 28
- Selection based on document review and on-site verification.
Phase 2: Guest Application
- Dates: March 1 – March 5
- Submit application with ARMY authentication (Fanclub ID, etc.).
Phase 3: Matching & Confirmation
- Date: March 6
- Hosts select guests directly. If delegated to Wehome, selection is made via first-come-first-served or lottery system.

Important Notes
- Host Selection: Wehome selects Armystay hosts based on a rigorous review process. This includes document verification and on-site inspections to confirm ARMY membership identity, safety standards, cleanliness, and legal compliance.
- Guest Application: ARMY guests must apply for their stay in advance via Wehome, specifying their preferred accommodation and dates.
- Matching Process: Hosts have the right to select their guests directly from the applicant list. If a host chooses to delegate the selection process to Wehome, guests will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis or via a lottery system.
- Free Hosting (Volunteers): ARMY hosts offering free accommodation do not need to register for a shared lodging business license. However, guests are required to pay a daily fee to cover actual hosting expenses (maintenance costs). Wehome will remit the full amount of these expenses to the host.
- Paid Hosting (Regulatory Sandbox): For hosts requiring registration under the Shared Lodging Regulatory Sandbox, Wehome will expedite the process within the deadline. Accommodation rates must be set within twice the average rate of similar shared lodging facilities in the same area during the same period in 2025
