This cancellation policy will be effective from 9:00 AM on July 15, 2024 in Korea Standard Time. ffective from August 20, 2024, with slight modifications applied. Check the cancellation policy that is effective by 9:00 AM on July 16, 2024.

Sometimes, unavoidable situations may require guests to cancel their reservations. To facilitate smooth hosting, hosts can select their preferred refund policy for each accommodation. There are standard cancellation policies for reservations of 28 nights or fewer, and special cancellation policies for reservations longer than 28 nights.  There are some cases where your cancellation policy may be overridden.

  • Standard Cancellation Policy: Applies to reservations of 28 nights or fewer as determined by the host.
  • Special Cancellation Policy: Applies to reservations longer than 28 nights regardless of the host’s standard cancellation policy.
  • Other Cancellation Policies: Separate policies may apply for special events, government-supported promotions (e.g., Korea Accommodation Sale Festa), and reservations with external partners.

If a host cancels a confirmed reservation, the refund policy  of host cancellation will apply.

Notes

  • To cancel a reservation, click the [Cancel Reservation] button in the itinerary of the respective reservation under My Trips.

  • The cleaning fee is refundable only if the reservation is canceled before check-in.
  • The service fee is refundable only for cancellations made before the check-in time or check-in.

Instead of Strict, we have added a new level called Balance between Moderate and Firm.
    • For stays of 28 nights or more, Airbnb’s refund policy includes Firm and Strict levels. Wehome’s long-term stay refund policy is unified under the Firm level.
